Cate, wife of the late Colpie (loved to bits husband) would like to thank the villagers of Belford and friends for all their kind expressions of sympathy received during her recent sad bereavement. Special thanks to the Vicar, Louise for her comforting service, also to Sally Anne for her cool and calm flower organisation and also to Kevin for his brotherly support. Grateful thanks to Shiela and Eric for sympathetic, friendly musical support and also to Malcolm Spillet for his wonderful singing. Thanks to Richard at The Black Swan for a wonderful festive spread at the funeral tea, it was a right good do and to Alan Hailes for the funeral arrangements. Thanks, everybody it was a great day. Colpie would have loved it.
